Dublin Days

We arrived in Dublin first thing in the morning on Sunday. Honestly, I hadn’t planned much for this day as I figured it was a good day to just wander and explore the city.

Oldest pub in Dublin, allegedly (with bomb fried brie that we definitely did not go back for another round of the following day…)

On Monday we ventured to Howth, a suburb of Dublin, to go on a coastal walk.

Later, back in the city we were antsy to hit up the nightlife scene. “We” being my brother, sister and dad (while mom and grandma headed back to the hotel).

Temple Bar was a typical “tourist” bar – so naturally we walked in, looked around and immediately walked back out. We ended up at some more local friendly pubs with live music (there are a TON of these) but none of them were quite as pretty as Temple Bar.

On our final day in Dublin, we decided it was in our best interest to just continue drinking so we hit up the Jameson Distillery and Guinness Storehouse.

After a long day of heavy drinking, it was time to pass out before having to wake up early the next morning for our driving tour to Northern Ireland.

More on Northern Ireland (my fave part) next week!
