Young, Dope, Proud
July 9, 2016
I mentioned this in my last post, but 4th of July has always been my favorite holiday. It has been a big celebration for my family for as long as I can remember.
This one was particularly special: the 30 year anniversary of our annual Jersey Shore party & the first year that we have been back to my aunt and uncle’s house in Mantoloking since Hurricane Sandy.
The house looks more beautiful than ever
3rd of July beach views
The lifeguards later had to go save that flamingo because it went cruising out to sea
Photoshoot with my sister and Milkshake aka Shakey. She (the dog) was not amused, my sister on the other hand was very much so.
Walk with my girls (sis, cousin & aunt) to hunt for sea glass
After (the sunsets were AMAZING – there are like 10 more pics to come)
4th of July decor prep
Breezy with sis
Dad & his “little” bro
My aunt busted out the most MAGICAL margarita machine
How cute is my grandma?! She’s my favorite human.
Reflective sunglasses photoshoot part 1
Reflective sunglasses photoshoot part 2
My masterpiece Jell-O shots (it was freezing, hence the sweater)
Annual family group photo (we also sing God Bless America… loudly)
A group of dolphins put on a show for us – it was like Sea World but in nature (which is the only version that should exist)
I wasn’t kidding about the sunsets. The sky was on fire and I was freaking out (aka non-stop taking photos)
Dirty Jersey in all it’s glory
Casual after hours concert brought to you be my uncle, cousin & father
That’s a wrap
Hope you all had an amazing 4th of July weekend!
